Yesterday we posted Sarah Nell and Robert’s ceremony and today we bring you their reception. Duvall Catering transformed Pepper Plantation into the perfect low-country fall fete. Using earthy shades of oranges, browns and reds the reception was the perfect compliment to the season and the woodsy setting of the plantation. Each table arrangement was completely unique; from bunches of sweetgrass tied with ribbon to mason jars full of dried leaves, berries and nuts. The fireplace mantles were designed by Sarah Nell’s aunt and gave the room a warm and cozy feel. The Bride’s friend Abby McMakin created a gorgeous four-tier cake iced with a sweetgrass basket pattern. Guests left the evening with homemade pepper jelly canned by the couple all summer. With a full moon and bonfires lighting up the night sky the couple could not have asked for a more romantic evening.
