Wedding: Sarah and Matt

Sarah and Matt were married this past Saturday at the gorgeous Litchfield Plantation in Pawleys Island, SC. Pawley’s is important to the Bride as her family vacationed there every summer as a child and the family owns many cottages on the island. (View their Pawley’s Engagement Here) The couple could not have chosen a more perfect venue as Litchfield encompasses the most beautiful aspects of Pawleys. With a glowing sunset over the marsh, lush expanses of lawn and spanish moss, the plantation provided the perfect elements to create romantic portraits of the couple.

The Bride and her friends handmade the majority of the wedding details including napkins, place settings and jars of homemade pepper jelly, with peppers from the grandfather of the Brides garden. They spent hours stamping, folding and cutting and the results were more than worth the effort. The personal touches throughout Sarah and Matt’s wedding made it a creative and unique event. Sarah wore a sweet Amsale gown that was the perfect compliment to her side-swept hair and delicate frame. (If her gown looks familiar that is because it is the same dress used in “The Hangover!”)
