Becky and Mike were married on a warm day in October. The girls spent their morning getting ready at Becky’s families beach house; sipping mimosas, relaxing and giggling. In a house down the road Mike and his groomsmen fretted over his bow tie, eventually figuring it out with the help of an iphone app!
After the ceremony the couple and their guests were taken by trolley to the Daniel Island Club. Erin Foster of the Daniel Island Club completely transformed the space to reflect a fun, casual atmosphere. Pink Chinese lanterns swayed in the light breeze and tables were decorated in pink cloth with vases of floating flowers from Branch Design Studio.
The couple’s ceremony took place at a downtown Catholic Church. Unfortunately the Catholic Churches in Charleston can be very difficult to deal with and impose many rules on photographers. Please ask to be informed of all the church rules before booking with one, as there is no such thing as a church without “rules” and they will impose these on the day of your wedding regardless. Everyone wants photos that capture the intimacy and love of their ceremony. It is a shame for everyone if you are blocked from getting those images.
