You may remember Meg from her gorgeous Bridal portraits, which we shot in early May. Getting to be apart of Meg’s wedding was a really special experience as only a month earlier we photographed her sister Sara’s wedding. This was our first experience shooting two weddings for one family and I must say we hope it is not our last! Their family is full of love and laughter and it was an honor to capture these special moments in their daughters lives.
Meg and Ken were married at St. John’s Baptist Church with the reception at her families historic home in Pinopolis, SC. Meg completely transformed their family home with the use of a tent. The space was decorated with pink flowers that matched beautifully with the Bridesmaids LulaKate dresses. Duvall catering provided the food (which I must say was delish!) and a live band rocked out from the families historic porch. Ken’s nephews took over for a few songs and really brought the house down. (Pay attention ladies- future Zac Efron’s in the making)
Meg and Ken’s wedding was a joyous event with guests dancing well into the night. The two are heading off for a honeymoon at Disney where I am sure they will have just as much fun together. (psst… Meg, wear your wedding gown to Cinderella’s Castle, you’ll look ten times better than her!)
