Lisa & Vinnie chose a beautiful autumn day to marry. The day flirted with rain but cleared wonderfully creating spectacular light which highlighted this great couple.
The ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville, VA a town about 40-miles outside Washington, DC. It was really neat getting to shoot in such a modern church. The inside was a study in simplicity as it was mainly painted grey and white, really making the purple bridesmaid dresses pop.
Following the ceremony we shot the couple at the Manassas, VA civil war battlefield park. It was a beautiful night with dramatic clouds filling the sky. This historic spot is where two important battles from the civil war took place and is now an oasis of nature… an ideal setting for wedding pictures!
The reception was held at the Congressional Country Club of Bethesda, MD. An exclusive private club founded by former President Hoover.
