Kristen + Jonathan’s Tiger Town Engagement

We shot Kristen and Jonathan’s engagement at Clemson University. The two met while attending the University and their alma mater provided the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. The school is surrounded by gorgeous parks filled with draping spanish moss and large oak trees. We spent the afternoon wandering through the campus and exploring John C. Calhoun’s historic home, Fort Hill. The sky threatened rain all day and finally began to pour right before the shoot. But luckily, just as we met with the couple the storm clouds parted and gave way to a beautiful, sunny afternoon. The earlier rain gave the woodsy campus a dewy, fresh look, perfect for photos!

Kristen and Jonathan are a happy, fun couple who constantly kept each other laughing throughout the shoot. The kept the day relaxed and fun and isn’t that what engagements are all about?

[…] were thrilled to find out that Kristen + Jonathan’s Clemson Engagement session was chosen by Christy of Clemson Girl as their Wedding Wednesday feature […]

[…] Kristen and Jonathan were married at Cottage on the Creek on Shem Creek in early June. The day began with hair at [dsfsdfsdf] for Kristen and her bridesmaids. The ladies finished getting ready at Kristen’s fathers house where the Bride did her own makeup. After getting ready we whisked Kristen off to take a few portraits. The couple chose to do a first look so we had Jonathan sneak up on his Bride during her portraits. Needless to say the pictures came out gorgeous and represent an intimate moment between the two.
