Engaged: Kristen and David

We are shooting Kristen and David’s wedding this fall in Chicago and the couple decided to turn their engagement session into a mini vacation by coming down to Charleston for the weekend. The two do not know the area well and were excited to spend the day exploring. Because of this, we were given full choice of the shoot locals. For Kristen and David’s engagement shoot we began on the marshes of Mount Pleasant and then moved downtown for some historic sunset images.

Kristen and David met at a speed-dating event at their local church. Neither had much hope for the event and were apprehensive about going, yet thought it might provide for some interesting entertainment. When the two were finally matched up that night it was love at first sight and they began seeing each other almost every night thereafter. (Proof you never know where you may find your soulmate!)
