Engaged: Becky + Mike

Separately Becky and Mike are two of the friendliest, nicest people and together they make a sweet and bubbly couple. You can’t help feeling happy that the two found each other. Becky and Mike met while attending the University of Virginia. They knew each other through mutual friends but sparks didn’t start flying until close to graduation when Becky heard rumor that Mike had a crush on her. She decided to ask him to one of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha’s functions only a month before graduation! Luckily the date went well and three years later Mike proposed in a gazebo in Central Park. The couple now lives in New York City, but since Becky is originally from Charleston they are planning an October wedding in the lowcountry.

For their shoot Becky and Mike chose downtown and Folly Beach. Ten minutes before meeting, the wind started howling and rain came pouring down. Determined not to throw in the towel we all regrouped at Baked to wait the storm out. Luckily the skies cleared up quickly and created a nice even light for the pictures. We began the shoot at Waterfront Park, later driving to Folly for some beautiful beach images.
